Death.
Everyone is afraid of the death. Not him.
Rather he is craving for the death. In a hope that in one life he won’t remember any previous lives. But he failed every time. The death is also a mere routine for his life. He has no reason to live his life or… lives. Once he thought the blessing, is now curse for him. A person who prays to God every time, has completely lost his faith in them.
Winter.
Everyone’s favourite season. Not his.
He has nothing to be called favourite. Or he doesn’t want to make anything his favourite. He is lonely. Or rather he prefers to be lonely. He has a lot of money, a big place to live, can get whatever he wants. He has everything yet… nothing. He has no one to call a home or rather he doesn’t want anyone to call his home. He is alive; but dead inside.
It’s very cold day. (I mean it’s winter so…)
He pushes the door that labelled as pull.
Like he cares.
He looks around at the café. Everyone seems happy around.
Like he cares. (of course…)
He goes to the platform. Looks at the owner.
“The usual one?”, café owner asked. He nodes as agree. “Aren’t you bored with drinking the same drink every day? I mean we have a lot of options besides this one.” He just stares at him for seconds. “(sigh) Alright alright, here’s you drink. Have a good day.”
He grabs the drink and goes to his usual table. He takes a sip of the drink and starts reading the newspaper, which is always available by his table. Maybe that’s the reason he chooses that table, or for the view across the window and the gentle sunlight coming from it.
After reading the newspaper, he puts it back at its spot, collect the trash from the table and dispose it in the trashcan. It’s his daily routine.
“I’ve been analyzing you for someday. I know you don’t like to speak much, but what do you do for the living?” someone he didn’t know tries to initiate the conversion with him. He looked at him and ignored the question. “He simply exists.” Café owner answered and let out lazy laughter to make the atmosphere at ease. He nods at the owner and exits from the café.
“Don’t mind him. He is… I don’t know but it feels like he is lost somewhere in this world. Maybe life doesn’t excite him anymore. The nod he does is the maximum conversations we had till now. Anyway, what would you like to have today?”
